  • God go punish this wicked people… No wahalla, we Naija na children of the light…. Darkness and Voodoo have no power over us!!! Super Eagles ahead ahead!

This is Avery disgusting act! This is part of the millions reasons why African cannot move forward. It’s Africans that underdeveloped Africa.
Imagine Germany putting of stadium’s light so Argentina will not be able to train. This is utterly ridiculous!

“It’s Africans that underdeveloped Africa”…….You can say that again…!

    • Very backwards and disgusting act. When you’ don’t believe you can win on merit this I guess is the next resort. However God works in mysterious ways and this might have even helped the super eagles take their game to a whole new level. When you train in darkness, other faculties are heightened which makes you more aware and can increase synergy. Just like if you can perform a task with a partner blindfolded well, if the blindfold was removed the level of expertise increases exponentially. Why some martial artists practice with a blindfold.

  • We would win tomorrow if Rohr could play wobi in the midfield because that’s his natural position. Also, he will score. I see Nigeria winning 3-1 tomorrow.

This is horrible and wicked to the extreme. From millet farm pitches to voodoos to darkness.  All these woes will boomerang to a heavy burden on the shoulders of these Beninoise  By God’s grace, Nigerians are equipped with night vision eyes.

The question is whether NFF will smile and sweep such unethical behaviour under the carpet or muster enough courage to protest to CAF. Why won’t Nigeria suffer? Disallowed goal, NFF stays mute; pitches on rocky terrains, NFF stays mute; rat-infested hotels, NFF stays mute.

Be mute for ever and continue to suffer.

Storm in a teacup! This happens in sports in all countries. Why do we believe it was deliberate? It could have been a simple technical fault. Do you hsve light every night in Nigeria?

    • Baggy 3 years ago

No we don’t but not in a situation like this.
At least there will be a generator in place.
Common, the light was out for the entire practice and the press were not allowed into the stadium, now tell me if that was coincidence too.
Wake up bro, it’s a stupid tactics.

  • walesko 3 years ago

Please lets come off it. And the team still went ahead to practice in the dark. They have every right to protest, and the benin authorities know the consequences if such is reported to FIFA or CAF

  • Rohr tell ur boyz to score 1 goal only on each half. Any attempt to beat or spelt Benin could be dangerous. Ie 5 :0 . Beninoise are bad losers. .. Nigeria fighter jet shud be closer in Benin airspace to quickly airlift the eagles back to lagos

    Lol
This is a stupid act that Benin republic are doing . Switching off a stadium at a time of a match shows how low their mentality are and it also shows that all their talks about super Eagles are nothing but a sham !
On another point of view , this act shows that Africa is the cause of its own underdevelopment where such acts still continues . And the reason why the western world will continue to mock us .

    It’s a shame .

I believe today ,the Eagles will win .

  • Olusegun.B. 3 years ago

A similar thing happened btw super Eagles and south When Nigeria came to their country for the world cup qualifiers to Brazil . They the south africans used delay tactics at the airport as well as in their stadium . Despite all that , super Eagles eventually won that match with a lone goal .

Yet Africa is dreaming of winning world cup with this kind of mentality .

    This is a total disgrace

  • Let us not panic….

LESOTHO vs SIERA LEONE match comes up by 2pm and anything short of “winning (3 points)” for SIERA LEONE means SE qualify with 2 good games to spare….
    Hahahahahahahaha

Oga and his boys have met another target in style already….
    Hahahahahaha…

Let’s cheer and laugh if u are a real SE fan… Let us not complain, murmur, cry, weep or wail anymore….

We should be thinking of how to scatter CAMEROUN and rule africa come next year’s afcon not crying over what has been settled even the blast of the whistle….

If your Super Eagles had left Lagos and arrived Cotonou on schedule there would have been no need to train at night

  • Hahahaha these guys are scared …..
I read an article on owngoal. com yesterday where the Benin gaffer said “NO TEAM IN AFRICA WILL DARE PLAY ATTACHING FOOTBALL AGAINST SE”
That means they are already planning to pack the BUS..

we just need to be careful while attaching them as well, cos there tactics today is ….

Sit back, and them on the break!!!
