    Why is Leicester’s Ashleigh not listed?

      Probably didn’t impress on her international debut or nursing an injury

    • Cos the English Women Super League just started and she’s a key player for Leicester City FC Ladies.

        I think Plumptre is experiencing a dip in form at the moment. She was an unused substitute in Leicester City’s women opening match of the season 2-1 loss to Aston Villa in the English WSL.

    No oyibos listed. Apart from Plumptre, Zogg and Ariyo are also missing.
    Still a strong squad though.

    This is a good list but dissecting the list from the last invitation from the last Austrian tourney, Waldrum has dropped like 10 players from the last 26 and replaced with experienced and tested 7 players.

    Dropped Players
    Goalkeeper: Patience Okeke (Bayelsa Queens);

    Defenders:Esther Ogbonna (Edo Queens); Chidinma Okeke (Madrid CFF, Spain); Onyinyechi Zogg (FC Zurich, Switzerland); Nicole Payne (West Virginia University, USA); Megan Ashleigh (Leicester City, England); Josephine Ijeh (BK Hacken, Sweden)

    Midfielders: Mowaninuola Dada (Watford FC, England)

    Forwards: Ebere Orji (Sundsvall DFF, Sweden); Ini-Abasi Umotong (Lewes FC, England); Evelyn Ijeh (BK Hacken, Sweden)

    Players not in the last drill
    Defenders:
    Onome Ebi (Minsk FC, Belarus); Faith Ikidi (Pitea DFF, Sweden); Akudo Ogbonna (Edo Queens); Oluwatosin Demehin (Rivers Angels)

    Midfielders:Regina Otu (Minsk FC, Belarus); Goodness Onyebuchi (Edo Queens); Esther Okor.

    The Ijeh sisters and Toni Payne Sister (Nicole) is not in the squad and the hardworking Chidinma Okeke. Anyway this is like a friendly, there is still room for the dropped ones for the Awcon qualifier against Ghana. Good luck ladies.
