Super Falcons Defender Leaves French Club

Super Falcons defender Oluwatosin Demehin has left French D’Arkema outfit Stade de Reims.

Demehin announced her departure from the Red and Whites on the social media.

“After an amazing years & seasons in Reims, I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to share and be part of those moments with you,”she wrote on X.

“I want to thank the President,coaches,club staffs, medical teams and especially my team mates who have become family for the belief and hard work that resulted in an unforgettable championship .

“To the fans, thank you for the support through difficult and simples times. Reims is a special place and now I understand what Remoises means .

Demehin joined Reims from Nigerian club, Rivers Angels in 2022.

The centre-back made 26 appearances for Reims with one goal to her name.

She was part of the Super Falcons squad to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2024 Olympic Games.
