Super Falcons Home Kit Nominated For Best Jersey At 2019 Women’s World Cup

The home kit of the Super Falcons at the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France has been nominated for best jersey at the tournament, Completesports.com reports.

This was announced on FIFA’s Women’s World Cup verified Twitter handle on Sunday.

The Super Falcons home kit was selected alongside that of Australia, Norway and Germany.

FIFA Tweeted that the jerseys were mentioned the most during the World Cup and decided to ask fans to chose their favourite in a poll on their handle.

After the conclusion of the votes the jersey with the highest per cent will be declared the winner.

The Super Falcons made it to the round of 16 at last year’s World Cup where they lost 3-0 to German in the first knock out stage.

Since sportswear giants nike unveiled it in 2018, the current Nigerian home kit has continued to receive positive remarks.

The kit features a bright green-and-white zig-zag pattern spreading across the torso and the contrasting sleeves, pay homage to the one kit worn in the mid nineties.
