AS Roma star Shukurat Oladipo has been named best defender in Serie A
Femminile for the 2025/26 season, Completesports.com reports.
Oladipo played a key role in Roma’s title triumph in the 2025/26 season, making 18 league appearances.
The Galliorosi conceded only nine goals, while she was on the pitch, claiming their third title in history.

Roma remained unbeaten in the league during the Nigerian defender’s appearances, keeping eight clean sheets across her 18 matches.
Oladipo was also included in the Team of the Season, alongside three other Roma players.
The team features Astrid Gilardi of Como Women in goal, while Shukurat Oladipo is joined in defence by Estela Carbonell of Juventus Women, Ivana Andrés of Inter Milan Women, and Caterina Ambrosi of Parma Women.
AS Roma Women trio Manuela Giugliano, Giulia Dragoni, and Giada Greggi occupy the midfield positions, while the attack is led by Tessa Wullaert of Inter Milan Women, Martina Piemonte of Lazio Women, and Cecilie Fløe from Napoli Femminile.

Congratulations Shukurat!Though not surprised,her amazing talent speaks for herself.
This was a player I saw play for the super falcons in the last Wafcon,as Michelle Alozie was rested in our third group game,we have gathered enough point to scale through.Shukurat was too good in that game to a point,I made a claim for her to start ahead of Michelle,in the knockout stages.I think she’s better than Michelle,my opinion though.
