Opta’s supercomputer has suggested that Manchester City might not clinch a fourth consecutive Premier League title.
Instead, it is Liverpool who are now favourites to be crowned champions come the end of the campaign.
The Reds moved two points clear at the top of the table with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Brighton at Anfield on Easter Sunday.
City and Arsenal, meanwhile, both lost ground to their rivals in their rather uneventful 0-0 draw at the Etihad later on.
The Gunners are second with 65 points, two behind Liverpool, with City one point behind Mikel Arteta’s team in third.
According to talkSPORT, Opta’s supercomputer has, in fact, simulated the rest of the campaign 10,000 times, handing Liverpool a 47.7 per cent chance of winning the title.

That is an increase of 12.4 per cent following their victory over Roberto De Zerbi’s Seagulls, with nine matches left to play.
Pep Guardiola’s City remain second favourites, but their chances have reduced from 45.9 per cent to 33.5 per cent after their draw with Arsenal.
Arsenal are third, with their chances unchanged at 18.8 per cent following their draw with Man City.
Liverpool will host bottom club Sheffield United on Thursday night.
On Wednesday night both Arsenal and City will be action at the Emirates and Etihad respectively.
While the Gunners will welcome Luton Town, City will entertain Aston Villa.
