Huddersfield have reportedly reignited their interest in Wolves outcast Ivan Cavaleiro as they consider a summer bid. The Terriers were linked with Cavaleiro last summer after he netted nine times in 42 Championship appearances to help Wolves to win promotion to the Premier League.

But they failed to lodge an official bid for his services and ultimately paid the price as they suffered relegation last term. Reports claim Huddersfield have retained an interest in the former Benfica man and it’s understood they could part with £7million to take him to West Yorkshire.
Cavaleiro’s gametime was restricted in the Premier League, starting just six games, but he still managed to net on three occasions. Nuno Espirito Santo will want to keep the 25-year-old as they prepare to fight on multiple fronts after earning a place in the Europa League, however, the offer of regular football elsewhere may be difficult to turn down for Cavaleiro.
