Yes we wanted to drop him because u turned him to a defender, caged him and almost ruined his career, thank GOD u we’re sacked before the afcon. this man should just go and look for a team to coach or has he turn to analyst?

Remind him coach Eguavoen is leading the team to the World cup.

Clearly u were not utilizing the potentials of the players at ur disposal GrandPa Rohr. So ur case is like that of Frank Lampard of Chelsea. He got resources to buy very decent players but unfortunately could not put them together on the field to get the needed results. And off he went then in came Thomas Touchel and the rest they say os history…

My point is Moses Simon was never a bad player. He had his off days of course on the pitch but then GrandPa Rohr also contributed in making d young talent look bad while playing him deep in defence nd not allowing him freedom to express all he can do.

The more this out dated coach opens his mouth, the more he exposes himself as the problem that was holding the super eagles back. Pinnick should go to this man’s house and sack him again.

Ur yobo dat have not justify his inclusion as super eagles coach nko

    • Chidiomimi 2 years ago

Only intelligent teachers produce great students. Give Yobo time under coach Austin and you will note the difference

      • Visit the camp and see what Yobo is doing. Don’t just criticize with no proofs. Thank you.

By all reconning, Moses Simon is one of the best if not the very best in Afcon so far.

It is a polite confirmation from Gernot Rohr that Cerezo is doing a great job with the boys. Good luck Moses.

So y couldn’t you, Rohr, utilize Simons prowess? That is the difference between you and coach Eguavoen. With only few hours, the whole World resonated with Eguavoen’s tactics clearly shown in the Super Eagles sytle of play. Up S. Eagles Up Nigeria.

The way the team is playing now indicates that Rhor was very poor tactically.

To be honest, Rohr did very well when he came new during that time VM and OBi were still actively involved. He played attractively and attacked football. I remember how he guided SE to hammer Cameroun 4;0 and Algeria 3;1. Moses Simon and VM we’re the lynchpin of that team. Both were our attacking outlets. However, after VM and OBi let the team Rohr change the tactic to the defensive. Often asking Moses Simon to defend deep. That was why he lost out .fans started losing interest in his style and all that

At the moment, Simon has to be a contender for the golden ball. He has been that good.
However, I prefer for him to win the trophy, than to win the golden ball and no trophy.

  • You almost turned our SE into a toothless bulldog by restricting the players and preventing them from attacking their opponents…….A time came I was actually thinking you were sabotaging the team because I couldn’t explain why a reasonable person will have such resources and blatantly refuse to make use of them……. Fan asked for Simon to be dropped because he became a shadow of himself in SE colors……We knew Simon before you Mr Rhor and we know what he is capable of doing on the pitch but if he drops form then he will not be spared which is exactly what happened…….Not only Moses Simon but almost all SE players are suddenly vibrant under Eguaveon…….Aribo attacks with urgency now……. Ndidi is more confident now…… Kelechi handles the ball with ease now…….Ekong is no longer jittery…….Omeruo is more solid now…….Aina run the channels better now……. Zaidu is a better defender now……. Awoniyi is more deadly now……. Chukwueze is enjoying his football now…….The changes are visible all over the team.

You are too much brother your analysis on point @Akp

    • So he used Ndidi as striker and Ekong as a midfielder then? Hmmmmmmn I just they pity some of you who can not do without wailing because very soon the reality will down on you. Is it not the same Ekong,Ihenacho and Simons most of you query their inclusion when Egu released the final list.some were even saying Iheanacho and Ekong are not doing well in their club that they are not good enough for super eagles, so it is Rohr who is behind their club form then? Suddenly they are all good because the new bride is using them the way the former as not been. My advice for you is just to calm down

      • If you read my comments well on this forum you will notice that I have always advocated for Top5 league players to be in SE so there is no way I can ask for Ekong Simon and Iheanacho to be dropped because they are part of the few Top5 league players we have……Look for another thing to say please.

How much Rohr Dey pay you? As them sack am now, you no go rest? Even the blind can few the changes in the style of play compared to Rohr’s era. Accept the fact that Rohr lost it and move on. Eguavon is receiving the accolades now becuase the team is playing good football, if it changes for the bad (God forbid) same us we come for his head! We are loyal to the Super Eagles and any coach doing well….not to any yeye Coach wey no get tactics. Werey, Dey talk now, no be the same Moses Dey play under am like oozuor? Alaye, boya ko calm down o

Simon is good but his final balls have not been too impressive. He has great potentials, though.

In essence, Mr Rohr has attested to the fact that Moses Simon began to realise his potential in the Super Eagles after he started playing under another coach. This is why it sounds very unintelligent for his fans to say that Eguavoen is playing with Rohr’s team. Such statement is an indictment and a proof of the inadequacies of Mr. Rohr.

He made a big mistake with this interview.

  • John-I 2 years ago

Even Moses Simon has admitted that Eguaveon gave him more freedom to express himself, something we never saw under Rohr.

Abeg Oga Rohr, Oya collect ya ‘tenkyu’ for retaining Simon, you try well-well. We move!

  • Iksproject 2 years ago

Shut up your mouth there…you that nearly killed his super eagles career by playing him as wing back. Rohr face your front and leave us alone..we’ve left your sorry ass in 2021.

  • Oyewole shotayo 2 years ago

I believe the tactic Mr rorh use is not really working in this days football.. just like mourhio style of play now…I think eguavon have gain a lot of experience during his playing days and his first and second terim as interim coach this also contribute to fantastic work he did now…may Almighty Allah make us Tru in this competition
