Tigers Set To Pounce For Norwich’s Marshall

Hull City have been linked with a summer swoop to sign Norwich’s fringe midfielder Ben Marshall on a season-loan deal. The 28-year-old has endured a difficult spell at Carrow Road since he joined the club in a £1.5million move from Wolves 12 months ago.

Marshall made just six appearances for the Canaries in the first half of the season before boss Daniel Farke agreed to send him on loan to Millwall, where he had enjoyed a successful loan spell in the 2017-18 campaign. The player scored three goals in 16 Championship outings for the Lions to help the club avoid relegation, but their boss Neil Harris has already stressed he will not be looking to sign Marshall again this summer.

Marshall has not been given a squad number by Farke and it appears he has no future at Norwich and will be made available. Hull, who have appointed Grant McCann as Nigel Adkins’ managerial successor, are being tipped to rescue Marshall by taking him to the KCOM Stadium for the upcoming campaign.
