Bernard Tomic crashed out of the Australian Open before launching an attack on Australian Davis Cup captain Lleyton Hewitt.
Tomic, who never seems to be too far away from controversy, was beaten 6-2 6-4 7-6 (7-3) by world number seven Marin Cilic.

However, the first-round loss did not seem to matter as the 26-year-old then hammered Hewitt, accusing the former world number one of alienating some key stars Down Under.
“No-one likes him anymore,” Tomic said of Hewitt. “We have a lot of issues that not a lot of players are happy about. We all know who those players are – myself, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Nick Kyrgios.”
Tomic, whose best result in a Grand Slam was the last eight at Wimbledon in 2011, also made it clear that he is unhappy about the way that the Davis Cup is run under Hewitt.
“I played Davis Cup for 10 years. I think I played at the youngest age of Australian history when I was 15,” he added. “Lleyton’s legacy and his tennis speaks for itself.
He’s an unbelievable champion, but what he’s doing now is wrong. “I hope he gets moved and we can go back to having a good captain.”
