AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori has revealed that he’s battle ready to face Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku in the Serie A again.
In a chat with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the England international stated that he’s not a stranger to Lukaku and knows how to tackle him.
Recall that pair are former Chelsea teammates and will at loggerheads when the Serie A kicks off August 13.
“My first match at Milan was against Romelu and that day I had respect, not fear.
“It will be the same this time. Lukaku is strong, Inter is strong but we are too.
“We know that the derby will be a special match.”
Tomori was eligible to represent Nigeria at international level through his parents, Canada through his birth in Calgary and England through having lived in the country since he was a child.
On 17 November 2019, Tomori made his competitive England debut against Kosovo in a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier, thus tying his future to the country.
