Tottenham vs Crystal Palace – On Matchday No. 35, Tottenham will play host to Crystal Palace in the north-south London derby this afternoon [Saturday, May 6].

Last weekend, the two teams played and recorded opposite results in seven-goal thrillers. Spurs lost 4-3 to Liverpool at Anfield after giving up a last-second goal, while the Eagles defeated West Ham 4-3 in another London derby.

After losing at Anfield, Tottenham formally gave up trying to finish in the top four. They have earned just one point in their last four Premier League games, and as a result, they are now in sixth place.

If there are any encouraging things to emerge from their recent games, it would be the team’s attitude, as they were motivated to overcome a three-goal deficit against Liverpool six days ago.

Unfortunately for their supporters, Diogo Jota scored in the final seconds of stoppage time, immediately following Richarlison’s equalizer, thanks to a late Lucas Moura error.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace kept up their resurgence under Roy Hodgson. After a rather sluggish performances in the games against Everton and Wolves earlier, the team hit four goals past the Hammers to get back on the winning track.

Wilfried Zaha scored to celebrate his comeback following a protracted injury, while other goal scorers at Selhurst Park on Saturday included Jordan Ayew, Jeffrey Schlupp, and Eberechi Eze.

Betting Analysis For Tottenham vs Crystal Palace

After losing 0-4 to Spurs in the rematch at Selhurst Park in January of this year, Crystal Palace will be seeking retribution. In their previous 23 home games against the Eagles, Tottenham had 13 victories, six ties, and only four losses.

In each of the previous four meetings between the two rivals, three goals or more were scored. In each of Spurs’ last eight games across all competitions, there have been goals at both ends.

The club currently managed by Ryan Mason, an interim manager, plays no defence at all right now, as they have conceded 15 goals in their last four Premier League games.

However, we liked the attitude that Tottenham’s players displayed six days prior in Liverpool, and we think they can recover against Palace today.

At 3.50 odds, we will back Tottenham to win and both teams to score. At 2.75 odds, we favor Heung-Min Son to score at any time.

The Korean superstar has significantly improved his form over the past few weeks, and we can see it in the final score against the attacking-oriented Eagles.
