Kelechi Iheanacho continued his remarkable scoring run for Bursaspor on Sunday, finding the net again in their thrilling 2-2 home draw against Esenler Erokspor.
The Nigeria international opened the scoring in the 16th minute, giving Bursaspor an early advantage and further underlining his importance to the Turkish side.
Despite Erokspor fighting back to earn a share of the spoils, Iheanacho’s latest strike took his tally to nine goals in seven league appearances this season.

The forward has also contributed two assists, highlighting his growing influence in Bursaspor’s attacking play.
Iheanacho has been in scintillating form since the start of the campaign, consistently delivering in front of goal and helping Bursaspor maintain their push at the top end of the table.
The draw was enough for Bursaspor to move to the summit with 16 points, level with second-placed Batman Petrolspor, but ahead on goal difference.
Attention will now turn to next weekend when the two leading sides meet in a potentially decisive top-of-the-table clash.

Credit to his attacking team mates, who are always looking to give him the ball. Very unselfish play.

You Wiked soul, I understand your view point. I was of the same view point too until recently.
But guy, go and watch his matches with Bursaspor. He is fit, hard working, and scoring goals. From experience, I know that players playing in lower leagues compete well and even outshine players in big leagues in Afcon. I recently gave the example of EQG striker Emilio Nsue.
Anyhoo, it is not our decision. It’s up to Mr. Chelle. Any choice he makes , we wish them the best.

Gift Orban has scored six goals in the top league in the top division in Turkey. An honest coach would consider Orban ahead of a lower league Iheanacho.

Top division regulars likr Osi, Akor, Aro, Duro, Orban, Dessers, Ilek, Awo, and Onuachu are very much ahead of Nacho. ,The Super Eagleas attacking option is very stacked to consider a player that was found surplus to requirement by Leicester (division 2), shipped by Seville (same team Akor triumphed), dumped by Celtics in the same league Balogun, Bassey, Aribo, Dessers, Fernandez were accorded honorable recognitions.
There is no way a sane coach will pick Iheanacho ahead of other strikers that are playing regularly in top divisions. That will be a day light robbery!!

A little problem though. Okoro na Italian. Will he agree to switch?
