Onuachu is an asset to any team, it all depends on the technical savvy of the coach to fully put this “arsenal” to use, with his aerial prowess combine with the air force man “Ossy air” opponents suppose to smell pepper but the truth is eagles don’t have wingers who can deliver good crosses.
Truth be told since our oyinbo coaches super eagles have been wingless, I don’t know whether God no longer bless us with wingers like mathematical ODEGBAMI, A dokie Aiemesimeka, Friday Edobor, Clement Temile,Finnidi George etc.
Recollect it was Finidi’s pass that paved way for Yekinni and Nigeria’s first world cup goal, May be Finnidi with unlock our wing play potential since he was a winger himself in his days and he was able to form synergy with Gangling Rashidi Yekinni and Onuachu is in that mould.
Another area of concern is the dearth of deadly set piece takers in the mould of Chairman Christian CHUKWU, he will almost certainly score away goal via set pieces for Nigeria, we don’t have them in eagles presently and lastly can Finnidi produce for us the like of Mudashiru LAWAL Felix Owolabi and Aloysius Atuegbu the block buster and long-range shot takers, nobody in that class yet but I learnt Onyedika often scores with long range shots:it was a long range shot scored by Onuachu against Egypt at ASABA that announced him on the national scene, but all have disappeared now, can Finidi unbundle this secret of success? Sorry, if it appears am setting an agenda for the new coach., I just want him to pay attention to the deficiency in our national team since oyibo coaches started to train us.
I wish him all the best
