Turkish Super Lig club Genclerbirligi have mutually agreed to terminate the contract of Super Eagles winger Henry Onyekuru, reports Completesports.com.
The decision follows talks between the club and the 29-year-old Nigerian’s representatives, with both parties reaching an agreement to end his stay ahead of the new season.
According to reports, both parties reached a settlement worth approximately €940,000 to facilitate the termination of the contract.
Under the agreement, Onyekuru will receive €240,000 in outstanding wages from last season, along with €700,000 as compensation for the remaining value of his contract for the upcoming campaign, bringing the total package to €940,000.

The agreed amount will be paid in instalments over a six-month period.
Before the contract was terminated, the Nigerian winger was reportedly set to earn €1.6 million in salary for the new season.
The tricky winger joined Gençlerbirliği on a free transfer last summer after leaving Saudi club Al-Fayha.
He made 17 league appearances for the Red and Blacks.
