Paul Onuachu and Chibuike Nwaiwu will be hoping to lift their first trophy with Trabzonspor when the Black Sea Storm face Konyaspor in Friday’s Turkish Cup final.
Onuachu, who joined Trabzonspor from Sky Bet Championship club, Southampton last summer has scored twice in the Turkish Cup this season.
Nwaiwu, who has become an influential figure at Papara Park since joining from Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC in January, is also expected to play a pivotal role as Trabzonspor chase a 10th Turkish Cup title.
Veteran forward Anthony Nwakaeme will make his final appearance for the Claret and Blues in the game.

The 37-year-old’s contract is set to expire this summer, with Trabzonspor deciding against offering him a new deal.
Nwakaeme previously enjoyed a successful spell at Trabzonspor between 2018 and 2022, winning the Turkish Super Lig, Turkish Cup, and Turkish Super Cup during his time at the club.
The striker returned to Fatih Tekke’s side for a second stint in 2024.
The Turkish Cup final will mark the third meeting between Trabzonspor and Konyaspor this season.
Trabzonspor won the first meeting 3-1, while Konyaspor came out on top 2-1 in their most recent encounter last month.
