Turn Down Real Madrid Offer And Accept Saudi League’s Mega Deal –Desailly Tells Mbappe

France World Cup winner Marcel Desailly has advised PSG star, Kylian Mbappe to turn down Real Madrid offer and accept Saudi League’s mega deal.

Recall that the France international is expected to join Real Madrid after his contract expires this summer.

However, Desailly in an interview with beIn Sports, stated that joining Real Madrid won’t be a perfect move for Mbappe.

“I don’t think it would be the ideal place for him. There is already Vinicius Jr on the left wing. There are players who have shown good things like Bellingham, he wouldn’t be the number one player as he would like.”

“If we think about the football business, I would aim for €350m for a year from Saudi Arabia. I would come back the following season, the year of the World Cup, he would only be 26 years old.

“What does Mbappé want? He wants to play football! This is what I think as a businessman: look at the stadiums, they are full of matches all over the world, he wants to promote football like Qatar in 2004-2005 and I think it would be a good opportunity for him to do more business and play football after the European Championships.”

I feel sorry for Mbappe if he listens to this Pub owner, As a then worldly fellow I met this man in 2016 at Plot7 and the excitement of money and power written all over him that period made me wonder but reading this today is a confirmation of my thoughts. If Messi and CR7 made their move at old age then you’re advising him to go and play for money at 25 in Saudi, then he will loose the spark by the time he returns to Europe when no European club will be able to match the 350m a year Saudi is offering. I feel sorry to those who sees these people as their mentor without digging deep. Marcel aka Jonnie Walker Plot 7 I hope you keep your advise and continue promoting iniquity without adding this young man.

And how do you know that, he is talking from a business angle, he is not forcing the guy to his advice. And it is only for a year, not a long term contract. And he is right it would take a while for him to establish himself at real-madrid. Well he has the final say

  • Marcel just displayed his Ghanaian mentality with this stupid comment. what the heck?
