Mike Tyson could be tempted back into the ring by a fight with rugby legend Sonny Bill Williams.
Former heavyweight world champion Tyson is training for a boxing return at the age of 53.
He intends to compete in exhibition bouts, 15 years after he retired following a defeat by Kevin McBride.
Tyson has recruited mixed martial arts trainer Rafael Cordeiro to be his new coach – and the footage they have released shows the American has lost little of his power.
And now Australian boxing promoter Brian Amatruda has claimed he wants to set up a fight between Tyon and Williams who amassed a 7-0 record over six years as a professional.

Williams currently plays rugby league for the Toronto Wolfpack in Super League, but Amatruda said: “The first thing I did was contact [celebrity agent] Max Markson and ask him to offer Tyson $1m.
“Max brought him to Australia in 2012. He gets on well with him and his wife but the main thing is that he got him a visa to get into the country back then and that’s the key.
“I’d hold it at Melbourne Arena where we’d get over 10,000 or even Princes Park where they got 30,000 for Jeff Fenech versus Azumah Nelson.
“He might be 53 years old but he’s still a huge name and any of those blokes, [Barry] Hall, [Paul] Gallen or Sonny Bill would jump at the chance to get into the ring with him.
“I’d make it part of a card with a world title fight for Tayla [Harris] on it. It would be enormous. Not just a fight, it would be an event.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
