Nigeria’s Flamingos will face Benin Republic in the final qualifying round of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
Akeem Busari’s side thrashed Guinea 11-0 on aggregate in the second round.
The Flamingos won the first leg 5-0, before confirming their superiority over the Guineans with a 6-0 thumping at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne on Sunday.
Flamingos Dominate Guinea
Oluwakemi Adegbuyi who scored in Abidjan got a brace (two goals in a match) opening the score sheet in the 9th minute and getting the 2nd goal in the 32nd minute. Captain fantastic, Chidi Harmony who also scored in Abidjan got a brace in the 21st and 34th minute.
The Flamingoes were not tired of pumping up the volume of goals as Queen Joseph scored in the 23rd minute and unstoppable Prescious Oscar closed the score sheet for the day with the 6th goal in the 70th minute.

Benin Overcome Sierra Leone
Benin earned a berth in the final round after 5-1 aggregate victory over Sierra Leone.
The Amazons won the first leg 3-0 at home before claiming a 2-1 away win in the reverse fixture.
The 1st leg matches will be played on 3-5th July while the 2nd leg will be decided 10-12th July.
The four emerging winners after the 3rd round will automatically represent Africa at the world U17 Female football cup finals later in the year.
