The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ugandan official Shamirah Nabadda as the centre referee for Saturday’s 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup final qualifying round second-leg clash between Benin Republic and Nigeria’s Flamingos.
Malian official Fanta Idrissa Kone will serve as the first assistant referee, while Fides Bangurambona of Burundi has been named second assistant referee.
Another Ugandan, Josephine Nantongo, will act as the reserve referee for the encounter.

CAF has also appointed Aissata Ameyo of Togo as the match commissioner, while Fatou Gaye of Senegal will serve as the referee assessor.
The Flamingos head into the decisive fixture with a slender 3-2 advantage from the first leg, which was played last weekend at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne.
Akeem Busari’s side arrived in Lomé on Friday and have completed their preparations for the crucial encounter.
The winner on aggregate will book a place at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which will be staged in Morocco later this year.
