Super Falcons midfield star Christy Ucheibe claimed her fourth consecutive league title with Benfica women’s football team.
Ucheibe, 23, featured for Benfica who sealed a tough 2-1 win against Racing Power FC on Saturday to retain their Liga BPI crown and
Benfica’s captain Carole Costa opened the scoring for the champions after converting a 38th minute penalty.

Racing Power FC equalised to potentially hand the title to Sporting CP, who were winning 2-0 away to Damaiense.
However, Costa emerged the hero for her side as she netted another penalty in stoppage time to hand Benfica a 2-1 win, and also help the club to their fourth league title in their history.
Ucheibe joined Benfica from Swedish club, Assi IF in 2020 and has been a part of each of Benfica’s league triumphs, as they claimed the crown consecutively from 2021 to 2024.
She is expected to be part of the Super Falcons squad that will feature at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
