UCL: Barcelona, Bayern Munich Zoom Into Quarter-Finals

Barcelona are through to the quarter-final stage of the UEFA Champions League after a 3-1 win against Napoli at the Camp Nou.

The home team won the tie 3-2 on aggregate.

Barcelona took control of the game from the start and took the lead through Clement Lenglet in the 10th minute.

Lionel Messi added the second in the 24th minute, while Luis Suarez scored the third goal from the spot late in the first half.

Lorenzo Insigne reduced the deficit for the visitors deep into first half stoppage time.

At the Alianz Arena, Bayern Munich thrashed Chelsea 4-1 to secure a place in the quarter-finals.

The Germans won the contest 7-1 on aggregate.

Robert Lewandowski put the home team ahead from the spot in the 10th minute.

Croatia winger Ivan Perisic made the task more difficult for Chelsea by netting the second in the 24th minute after he was set up Lewandowski.

Chelsea had a goal chalked off for offside in the 28th minute with VAR cancelling Callum Hudson-Odoi’s superb strike.

Tammy Abraham pulled a goal back for Chelsea a minute before half-time.

Correntin Tolisso and Lewandowski scored after the break to make the scoreline more emphatic.
