The Reds won the contest 4-0 on aggregate.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane scored both goals for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the 70th and 74th minutes respectively.
The win was Liverpool’s third in nine games across all competitions.

In the night’s other game, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona battled to a 1-1 draw.
PSG booked their passage into the next round 5-2 on aggregate.
Kylian Mbappe put the home team ahead from the spot on the half hour mark.
Lionel Messi equalised with a fabulous strike in the 37th minute and missed from the spot just before half-time.
