Udogie Flattered By Attention From Top Clubs

Udinese defender Destiny Udogie has said he is flattered by the attention he is receiving from top European clubs.

The youngster was one of the key performers for Udinese in the Serie A last season.

The Nigerian-born defender has been linked with a move to Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur.

However he takes all in the attention in his stride and believes his agents will guide his steps.

It’s very nice to be approached by top level clubs,” he said to TuttoMercatoweb.

“I live it calmly and thinking about the pitch.

“My agents think about the market.

“They know my thoughts and have my total trust.”

Udogie, who is of Nigerian descent was born in Italy and he has represented the Italians at the youth level, though he is still eligible to represent Nigeria.

Udogie was nurtured in the Hellas Verona youth system.

The defender joined the senior team in 2020 and made his debut against AC Milan.

He joined Udinese in 2021 with an option to buy.

Udogie scored five goals and provided three assists from 37 appearances in all competitions for Udinese last term.

Udinese finished 12th in the Serie A last season with 47 points from 38 games.
