UEL: Omorodion Bags Brace As Man United Force Porto To 3-3 Draw

Samuel Omorodion scored two goals but it was not enough as Porto had to settle for a 3-3 draw with 10-man Manchester United on matchday 2 of the Europa League on Thursday.

A stoppage time goal from Harry Maguire helped United avoid defeat after Erik Ten Hag’s men surrended a 2-0 lead.

While it was Porto’s first point, after losing on matchday 1, United picked up their second draw.

The Portuguese giants are in 24th after two games and United are in 21st place from the same number of games.

Marcus Rashford gave United the lead in the 7th minute before Rasmus Hojlund made it 2-0.

In the 27th minute Pepe pulled a goal back for Porto before Omorodion completed the comeback on 34 minutes.

Five minutes into the second half Omorodion got his second goal to put Porto 3-2 up.

In the 81st minute United were reduced to 10 men after Bruno Fernandes received a second yellow card.

However, in the 91st minute Maguire rescued a point for United by scoring the equaliser.

In Scotland, Cyriel Dessers provided an assist but Rangers lost 4-1 at Ibrox to Olympique Lyon.

Leon Balogun was an unused substitute for Rangers while Gift Orban was also benched for Lyon.

Rangers now have a win and a defeat after two games and for Lyon it is two wins from two games played.

  • Omorodion, Christantus Uche, George Ilenikhena, Victor Olatunji – a very bad headache for Eguavoen. While the already capped Boniface, Osimhen, and Lookman are also doing fantastically well.

It will be a great injustice if we’re not at the WC in 2026. Even FIFA will be pained missing this loaded African team that could potentially reach the last 4. I hope we’re able to turn things around starting March.

Really painful those 9 points dropped by Finidi (5) and Paseiro (4). We cannot afford to drop even a single point again.

Eguavoen – I would have called your name 3 times but I can’t be bothered lol – All I have to say to you is this

Samu Omoriodon is a monstrous pest and an absolute handful of a striker! And I mean that in the best and most positive way.

Please Please Please go and CALL HIM UP RIGHT NOW! Don’t waste time O!

Let’s not be hearing that another country have drafted him in! He has the potential to dethrone every man currently wearing the green white and green and become our MAIN NUMBER 1 FROM NOW AND WELL INTO THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE!

Eguavoen, please hear me well o! If you want to do well then call Samu up Immediately!! Ose!
