Ujah Eager To Face Former Club  Cologne In Bundesliga Matchday 31

Nigerian striker, Anthony Ujah is looking forward to making an appearance on Saturday when his club, FC Union Berlin travel to face former side, Cologne in Bundesliga match day 31, Completesports.com reports.

Ujah spent three years at The Billy Goats, first teaming up with the club on loan in the summer of 2012 before earning himself a permanent move the following season.

The former Warri Wolves attacker netted 32 goals in 102 appearances in all competitions across three seasons prior to making a departure from Cologne who now has Kingsley Ehizibue.
And according to the player, next Saturday’s Bundesliga encounter between Cologne and Union Berlin at the RheinEnergieStadion is one which he can’t wait to take part in.

Ujah told kicker.de when asked if the match against Cologne is something special for him: “In Cologne I had my best time in football so far, the city is very important to me. I see my future there.”

Meanwhile, Ujah is still waiting for his breakthrough as a regular player at Union Berlin, saying: “Berlin is a great city,” he says. “I’m sure the future will be better.”

The 29-year-old has so far struck the back of the net on two occasions in 20 German top-flight appearances for Union Berlin during the on-going season.
