Manchester United are ready to make Harry Maguire one of the top earners at the club as they attempt to get the defender on board at Old Trafford.
The Reds have been busy in the transfer market this summer but are looking to add even more, with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggesting two more deals are in the pipeline.
A move for Leicester City defender Maguire appears to be one of them with reports claiming United are in the box seat to do a deal after Manchester City pulled out of the race.
The England international will not come cheap but it looks as though United are ready to back down and meet Leicester’s valuation which ranges from £80m to £90m depending on which report you believe.
On top of that it has been claimed United will pay in the region of £250,000 a week in wages, meaning only Alexis Sanches and Paul Pogba will earn more at Old Trafford.
United now hope to bring the long drawn out transfer saga to an end and get the deal wrapped up as soon as possible.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
