Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has unveiled his starting XI for tonight’s Unity Cup semi-final clash against the Warriors of Zimbabwe, Completesports.com reports.
Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo gets the nod ahead of Francis Uzoho between the sticks.
The Enugu Rangers duo of Chibueze Oputa and Obinna Ogbuke will start at full-back, while Igoh Ogbu partners Trabzonspor defender Chibuike Nwaiwu in central defence.

In midfield, Chelle has opted for former Golden Eaglets captain Samson Tijani alongside Tochukwu Nnadi and Alhassan Yusuf.
Terem Moffi will spearhead the attack, with Femi Azeez and Philip Otele providing support from the flanks.

Which game did watch, @Michel to be saying Terem Moffi did not play well? Moffi provided both Assists for Femi Azeez’s 2 goals.
The 2nd goal was entirely made by Moffi laying the ball on a plate for Azeez to just slot into the goal, after all the hard work from the left wing by Moffi. Someone made 2 Assists for all of SE goals, and you say he didn’t play well, habba!
Tony K, I weak ooo. I couldn’t believe it myself that he said Moffi had a poor game.
So you can have a poor game with 2 assists? Look at how mobile he was? I was particularly impressed with the way he combined with players around him, with neat little passes here and there. Before this game, I have to say I also did not hold Moffi in high regard, but based on his performance today, he did well.

Okonkwo looks like a pair of safe hands. Nwaiwu and Ogbu formed a good centerback partnership. Moffi provided the assist for the second goal. Good display from him.
Funny to see Nigeria looking more dangerous in Unity Cuo compared to world cup qualifiers. If we had played Zim like this at home, we would have beaten them.

@Pompei, it means we need some personnel change in SE. The return leg in the WC qualifiers in Uyo in particular was been won by SE until tired and aging Ndidi and Troost-Ekong cost us the equaliser from fitter and lasting Zimbabwe team.
Thankfully Ekong is gone; Ndidi, Onuachu, Boniface, Iheanacho,Moses Simon and even Chukwueze should retire by themselves or the Coach should stop calling them up, and instead integrate some of these younger and fitter players that demolished the Zimbabwe team today.
Tony K, this Zim team we just beat is the same team our “Senior men” could not be at home in Uyo. Although the lion share of the blame must rest on NFF, the players have to bear some responsibility too. The young Zim lad that grabbed the last minute equalizer against us in Uyo played today, and was well marshalled by our back line.
Obviously, jerseys are now up for grabs. We are seeing quality alternatives, and the regulars now have to work to keep their starting jerseys. Chukwueze for instance now has some very stiff competition coming from Azeez. Otele too will have Simon on his toes. Apart from Osimhen and Lookman, every other jersey is up for grabs. Even Osimhen and Lookman should not be allowed to relax. Players should step up and show their quality. That kind of competition bodes well for us.
At least let Chelle give us a formidable team A and B, team B on standby and ready to overtake any player who fail to perform from team A.
Tochukwu Nnadi was the star of the match for me. Great team play. Chelle’s impact is so real on the team. Nigeria should keep him.
Nnadi was just immaculate today.
If we are not careful we may lose Chelle… The guy too good.

Trust NFF Onigbese, They will find a way to sack Chelle, or they will somehow frustrate him so that he leaves, then they will appoint Eguavoen.
And boom! We are back to square one!
We now have Otele and Azeez, good wingers, and the likes of YIra Sor and Moses Usor are also emerging. The likes of Tella and Ejuke are also there. Moses Simon and Chukwueze have their work cut out if they are to remain in the set up. We need to start calling time on some of these players, so that fresh hungry talent can blossom.
