Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has been recognized for impressive display against Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Thursday night.
Uzoho has been nominated for the UEFA Europa League League Player of the Week and Save of the Day awards following his great showing at the “Theatre of Dreams”.
The 23-year-old was moments away from finishing one of the greatest goalkeeping displays Old Trafford had seen before Scott McTominay struck deep into stoppage time.
Manchester United won the game 1-0 to maintain their unbeaten run in the competition.

Uzoho made 11 outstanding saves in the encounter.
It was only his second appearance in the competition for the Cypriot club this season.
The goalie will battle Vitor Oliveira, Joey Veerman and William Boving for the Player of the Week award.
He is the running for the Save of the Day award along with Ugurcan Cakir, Kenan Piric and Jorg Siebenhadhl.
