Uzoho Upbeat Ahead 2023 AFCON Qualifiers

Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has expressed optimism going into the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, despite the disappointing results in the friendly games against Mexico and Ecuador.

The Eagles will kick off the AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone on Thursday June 9 before going away to face São Tomé and Principe few days later.

New head coach Jose Peseiro lost his first game in charge as the Eagles went down 2-1 to Mexico before suffering a 1-0 loss to Ecuador.

Uzoho that pipo wanted to kill a couple of months ago is now everybody’s darling.
    Such is life.
    Indeed, no condition is permanent!

This Team doesn’t ve what it takes to go far, and the match on Thursday is going to be either draw or they loose. The technical crew and Pinnick knows the game they’re playing, I’m one of the  few guys who’s not eating what these criminals are cooking.

I would suggest a 3-4-3 for this team.
    Uzoho
    Ajayi, Ekong, Balogun
    Aina, Iwobi, Aribo, Bassey
    Osimhen, Dessers, Lookman
I would prefer the front 3 to play close together, like Mane, Salah and Firminho used to do, and keep switching positions, making them unpredictable and more difficult to pin down.
With Iwobi and Aribo creating behind them, these front three should produce goals.
The absence of a natural DM may be an issue. However, Iwobi and Aribo are both developing into box-to-box midfielders, so they will form a double pivot in the midfield.
    Let’s go for goals, gentlemen.
