Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde says he is to blame for his team’s poor form after their shock 2-0 defeat to Granada. The La Liga champions have endured their worst start in La Liga for 25 years after just two wins from their first five matches.
Valverde’s men had already lost to Athletic Bilbao and drawn with Osasuna before they were beaten on Saturday by Granada. Barcelona’s only victories have come against Real Betis and Valencia this season and Valverde is under immense pressure just five games into the new campaign.
Barca have failed to win any of their last seven away games in all competitions, but the former Bilbao manager has refused to blame his squad.

Away from home, we are not playing good games. We are dominating, but we do not translate it into goal situations. It is also true that the opponent is scoring the first goal.”
