Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has backed new manager, Arne Slot to succeed in the Premier League.
Recall that Slot replaced Jurgen Klopp as manager after he left his position this summer.
Van Dijk was asked at the Monaco GP if Slot can carry on the success of predecessor.

“I hope so,” he said. “Obviously I have full trust in the club and all the decisions going forward. It’s exciting as well.
“Change is always a bit in the unknown, but I have got full confidence and am looking forward to the new season already.”
“100%, but success is not guaranteed. That’s pretty obvious. We are going to work our socks off in order to make it happen and we have a good coach coming in, a good backroom staff.
“We are a very good team. Let’s see what happens.”
