Serie A club Venezia have reached an agreement with Sevilla to sign Super Eagles striker Akor Adams, Completesports.com reports.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sevilla will receive a €16 million transfer fee for the Nigeria international.
The Spanish club turned down earlier bids from Venezia before the Serie A side returned with an improved offer that met their asking price.
Adams has already agreed personal terms, paving the way for his move to Italy.
The deal makes the talented striker the most expensive signing in Venezia’s history
The 26-year-old scored 10 goals, and registered three assists in 32 league appearances for Sevilla last season.

Adams Ready For Fresh Start
Adams linked up with Sevilla from French outfit Montpellier in January 2025 for a reported €5 million fee.
The former Lillestrøm striker endured an injury-hit first six months at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, making just four league appearances without scoring.
Adams earned his maiden Super Eagles call-up during the second half of last season for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin. He marked his debut with a goal after coming off the bench against Lesotho.
The striker was also part of the Super Eagles squad that claimed the bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Venezia Return To Serie A
Venezia secured promotion to Serie A last season after finishing top of Serie B, claiming the second-tier title for the third time in their history.
The Winged Lions are expected to strengthen their squad with more quality additions as they aim to preserve their Serie A status next season.
