Vermard Africa FC Target NPFL, Relocate to Nanka; Taribo, Ikpeba to Grace Relaunch

Vermard Africa FC, a new outfit, has emerged in the South East Nigeria state of Anambra with a view to filling the void left by the demise of the likes of Udoji United, Jasper United and most recently, Nnewi United which has left FC Ifeanyi Ubah as the only top flight football performers in the state, Completesports.com can exclusively report.

Checks by Completesports.com reveal that Vermard Africa FC is coming with high, top flight ambition and will announce their arrival on Saint Valentine’s Day, February 14, at Neros Stadium, Nanka where they will engage Enyimba International in a friendly match.

Former Nigeria international, Taribo West and Victor Ikpeba are also part of the ‘lovers day’ program with their special appearance.

Completesports.com’s also gathered that a press conference to herald the arrival of Vermard Africa FC, which starts it’s journey into the Nigerian league in the Nationwide League One, will hold on February 11 at the Supreme Icon Hotel, Nanka.

“Enyimba is Nigeria’s most successful club and we deemed it appropriate to engage them in a friendly to sensitive Anambrarians of our arrival. I think that speaks volume of our pedigree, quality and ambition,” an official of Vermard Africa FC told Completesports.com.

“That’s not all, we are bringing top rated former Super Eagles players, Victor Ikpeba and Taribo West all to spice up the ocassion and equally underline what Vermard Africa FC stand for.”

The occasion will also feature music performance by Slow Dog just as Completesports.com understands that the club will hold interview session same day for the job of Media Offier l to steer the ship of the club’s public image.

“We are adopting a process whereby interested applicants will have to apply online and thereafter, interviewed on February 14,” the official explained.

Vermard Africa FC was originally based in Enugu but following a new ambition rise the top reckoning in the domestic and continental club football, they opted for the serene and conducive environment provided by the Neros Stadium, Nanka.
