Villareal have offered AS Roma Academy, Abuja exciting winger, Prince Kelechi Nnajiofor a four-year contract with the Spanish La Liga Santander club ready to sign him as soon as possible.
However, Villareal are facing a very stiff competition in their bid to sign the attacking starlet as more transfer offers have poured in for him from two other Spanish clubs, Portugal and Qatar.
Another Spanish club, Atletico Porcuna have tabled a two-year deal for Prince Kelechi.
The interested Qatari club have also offered him a two-year contract with working/resident permit.
The player’s agent, however, wants his client to have experience of playing in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) and exposure in any of Nigeria’s national youth teams before leaving for Europe in order help him to break easily into their main team instead of playing with the reserves.
Prince Kelechi who is the next biggest thing to happen to Nigerian football has exceptional qualities that stand out as the 19-year-old can actually play all forward positions such as right-wing, left-wing, support striker and striker.
He is also wanted by La Liga SmartBank side, CD Leganes, Ligue 1 club, Amiens SC and another top team from Qatar with a total of eight sides desperately jostling for the signature of the latest Nigerian attacking sensation.
But it is Samuel Chukwueze’s side, Villareal who have made a very concrete move for Prince Kelechi with the winners of the Europa League even going as far as offering the youngster a four-year deal.
And in fact, it is the agent of Atletico Madrid French midfielder, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Daniel Perez that is pushing for Prince Kelechi’s move to Villareal after having a successful collaborative meeting with the exciting attacker’s Nigerian Exclusive Agent & Advisor.

Now, I’m interested. I no send before, thinking this guy was being hyped.
For all these clubs to be interested in him, the guy has to be really good.
Una too dey hype average players.
You don see am play before. Abi you be scout make we know
Yeah, and when he finally signs for a club…….I won’t be surprised if it is aa Swedish club or some second division team. lol
Did Ladan Bosso invite him or he is one of the exciting talents I heard he didn’t even give a look in. Jamboree Bosso I don’t expect anything from someone who can not even qualify for U20 Afcon.
Endurance, you have a point. If this guy were that good he should be in the Flying Eagles squad.
“….The player’s agent, however, wants his client to have experience of playing in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) and exposure in any of Nigeria’s national youth teams before leaving for Europe in order help him to break easily into their main team instead of playing with the reserves….””
Hahahahaha…really….ARE YOU KIDDING ME…??
Its either this Agent is a wicked person or just a filthy liar….LMAOoo.
Playing in the NPFL and in Ladan Bosso’s U20s will help him to break easily into Villareal main team….???? LMAoooo….Really…?
What a terrible way to do a PR job…..LMAOooo.
You turn down a 4 year contract from Villarreal to play in the NPFL…?? What a stupid agent.
Please how many NPFL players have succeeded in breaking into the main team of any top club in a top league…..in the last 10 years….???
Someone should remind that dude that a certain Ezekiel Bassey of Enyimba, U23 and CHAN eagles couldnt play beyond one season in Barca B in the spanish 3rd division before being spat out by the club.
The player’s agent, however, wants his client to have experience of playing in the NPFL and U-teams in order help him to break easily into their main team instead of playing with the reserves…..LMAOoo.
This comment has just made my weekend.
It is clearly a PR job since Obuh mentioned this guy’s name…..Trying to market him by any means necessary lol…
Just before Anayo Iwuala sealed the move to Esperance, his name was all over the footballing space in the country. Some even labelled him the new Okocha or Etim Esin. Immediately he left Nigeria, he disappeared like car smoke. Our journalists are part of the rot in our football, let’s stop blaming Pinnick. In fact, these people put a lot of pressure on the Warri-born administrator before he bowed to the pressure of letting Rohr go. I pray that mistake doesnt cost us another decade of disaster.
Have watched him play mehn that guy sabi play ball…I’m not surprise to see clubs fighting for his signature.
But how come he’s not on bosso’s list for the under 20 world cup playoffs?
I don’t know why the NFA keep retaining mediocres as coach. Going down memory lane, is it not the same Ladan Bosso that took flying eagles to Canada 2009 during Brown ideye time and at the end flying eagles was bashed out 4-0 by Chile, till today they keep using this clue less tactician to raise future Stars for Us. Also for the Super Eagles why going for a Mediocre coach(Jose Poseiro) who has no taste or pedigree for Success in his coaching Career, I think Philip Cocu is standard enough to Take super Eagles forward.
