Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will learn their group-stage opponents for the 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship when the draw takes place on Thursday, Completesports.com reports.
The draw ceremony is scheduled for the Stade du 04 Août in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
The draw for the second edition of the WAFU B U-17 Girls’ Cup will also be conducted at the same venue on Thursday.
Nigeria are among the seven countries that will compete in the girls’ tournament alongside Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, hosts Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire and Niger Republic.

Meanwhile, the Golden Eaglets are intensifying preparations for the WAFU B U-17 Championship in Abuja.
Eboboritse Uwejamomere’s side played two friendly matches against Simonben Academy of Kaduna and Galadima FC last weekend as part of their build-up to the competition.
The WAFU B U-17 Championship will serve as a qualifying tournament for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
Burkina Faso will host the competition from October 4 to 17, 2026.
