Defending champions Flying Eagles of Nigeria have arrived Abidjan , Cote d’Ivoire for the 2026 WAFU B U-20 Championship, Completesports.com reports.
The players, and their officials departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, for Abidjan on Monday morning before continuing their journey to Yamoussoukro, the host city of the tournament.
Abdu Maikaba’s side will start the defence of their title against the Black Satellites of Ghana on July 27 at the Lycée Scientifique de Yamoussoukro.

Nigeria will battle the Junior Sparrow Hawks of Togo at the same Lycée Scientifique de Yamoussoukro in their second game three days later.
The Flying Eagles will wrap up their Group B campaign against Young Stallions of Burkina Faso on August 2 also at the Lycée Scientifique.
The tournament will also serve as the qualifying competition for the 2027 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
