Edo Queens booked their place in the final of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League following an emphatic 5-1 victory over hosts USFA in Wednesday’s semi-final clash.
The Nigerian champions took the lead in the 17th minute through Atume Doosuur, who found the back of the net to put her side in control.
Chioma Moses doubled their advantage two minutes before the break, before Valentina Uroko made it 3-0 with a superb long-range free-kick in first-half stoppage time.

Edo Queens continued to dominate after the interval, with Doshima Tarnum adding the fourth goal shortly after the restart.
Aminat Folorunsho then completed the rout two minutes after the hour mark, scoring the Benin City club’s fifth goal of the contest.
USFA grabbed a late consolation from a free-kick, but it did little to take the shine off a commanding performance from the Nigerian champions.
Edo Queens will face the winner of the other semi-final encounter between Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa and Benin Republic’s Dynamique FC in the final.
