Neil Warnock is aware keeping Cardiff in the Premier League is a huge task but he insists he is relishing their survival battle. The Bluebirds went down 2-0 at home to Liverpool on Sunday but Warnock was happy with his side’s performance against the title chasers.

Cardiff are now three points adrift of safety as Brighton managed a draw at Wolves on Saturday but Warnock remains convinced his side can pull clear of danger. “The players really gave their best,” he said after the loss to Liverpool.
“When you are coming up against such quality like that it’s great to give them a game and give the fans one or two exciting moments.
“It [the relegation battle] is going to be difficult, but right exciting. I am looking forward to it.” Cardiff head to relegated Fulham next weekend and then face Crystal Palace (h) and Manchester United (a) in their final games.
