Neil Warnock has dismissed reports claiming he is about to quit as Cardiff City manager. The Bluebirds, who are away at Southampton on Saturday, have endured a tricky Premier League season to date and the Welsh outfit currently occupy 18th place in the table, two points adrift of 17th-place Burnley.
Cardiff are also still reeling after the disappearance of Emiliano Sala and there were rumours that 70-year-old Warnock was ready to call time on his stint in Wales.

However, the English tactician insists he will remain in charge for the rest of the season at least as he bids to steer the club away from relegation trouble. “I’ve spoken to Mehmet Dalman and our relationship is so close, he knows my feelings,” he told WalesOnline. “Over the past few weeks, there have been times when I thought ‘is it worth it, being a football manager after all that’s happened?’ “But I’m looking forward to (the rest of the season), I’ve got a responsibility to the club.”
