Lamine Yamal believes Barcelona are currently the best team in the world following their dominant win against Bayern Munich.
Barcelona ended their poor run against Bayern Munich with a comfortable 4-1 win on matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League.
Raphinha was the star of the game as he netted a hat-trick while Robert Lewandowski scored against his former side.
Yamal was also impressive for the Blaugrana’s after providing a cross field pass to Raphinha for the fourth goal.
Up next for Barcelona is the El Clasico with Real Madrid and Yamal feels he and his teammates are proving how good they are.
The Catalans take on Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday, October 26.
“Before this match [against Bayern Munich] we were already feeling very confident,” Yamal told CBS Sports.
“We believe we are the best team in the world, and I think we are proving it. We will go with all our strength, and may the best team win [in El Clasico],” the 17-year-old added.
