Paris Saint-Germain sensation Désiré Doué is already setting his sights on European dominance after helping his team secure their second consecutive Champions League title against Arsenal.
Following PSG’s dramatic penalty shootout victory against Arsenal in the Champions League final, Doué immediately downplayed resting on their laurels.
Speaking to TNT Sports, he said: “We are so, so proud, so happy and grateful. It was a tough game against a good team. We have to enjoy this as a team as a family because we deserve it.

“Look at the crowd! I thank my lord and saviour Jesus Christ because that was my prayer.”
On taking his penalty: “It’s a part of my job. You have to stay calm.”
“I don’t know, you have to tell. We have to stay humble and we will work again, we want more, we are a young, hungry team. We will go again.”
Under manager Luis Enrique, PSG has pivoted away from the previous era of high-profile superstars, successfully placing their bets on an energetic, youthful project.
With a core group of dynamic, world-class talents like João Neves, Nuno Mendes, and Doué himself, the club believes they have the perfect foundation to compete for further European silverware.
Doué believes this chemistry is what makes the squad dangerous, often treating their matches as a kind of magic between family and teammates rather than pressure.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique described his team’s second UEFA Champions League triumph as “even bigger” than their maiden European title a year ago, after the French club edged Arsenal on penalties in a tense final on Saturday.
“It is even bigger because we knew of the difficulties of playing against Arsenal, and for us as a team and a city, it is incredible to win it,” the Spaniard told broadcaster Canal Plus amid on-pitch celebrations at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
