Wolves have been linked with a move for Zenit St Petersburg targetman Aretem Dzyuba after he became a client of Jorge Mendes. Russian newspaper Sport-Express claim the 30-year-old is wanted at Molineux. They also report that the Russian international, who had a good World Cup last summer, is now having his affairs handled by ‘super agent’ Mendes.

That makes the link to Wolves, whose success has been underpinned by Mendes moving a number of his clients to the Black Country in the past two years, a fairly obvious one. Dzyuba has been the number one striker at Zenit since 2015 and he scored 13 goals and had 17 assists last season as his club stormed to the Russian title.
