Wolves have concerns over the availability of Diogo Jota for Monday’s home clash with Newcastle. Jota has missed only a handful of matches since joining Wolves in June 2017, making 43 starts in the Championship last term and appearing in 20 of 25 Premier League matches this season, mostly as a starter.
The West Midlands outfit have been in Marbella for a warm weather training camp this week ahead of hosting Newcastle on Monday.
Jota is a doubt for the clash after missing Tuesday’s 3-2 FA Cup victory over Shrewsbury with a knock.
Jota travelled to Spain with the rest of the squad but hasn’t been involved in full training and will need to be assessed by the medical team.
Ruben Neves was on the bench for the FA Cup replay but doesn’t have any issues and should be back in the starting XI.
Likewise, Ruben Vinagre is expected to come back into the fold after missing the midweek engagement with a virus.
