Women’s UCL: Oshoala Expects Tough Barcelona Ladies – Juventus Clash Today

Barcelona Ladies forward, Asisat Oshoala anticipates a very tough match when the Spanish Iberdrola side confront Juventus in the second leg Round of 32 tie of the UEFA Women’s Champions League today (Wednesday) at Estadi Johan Cruyff, in Sant Joan Despi, Catalonia, Completesports.com reports.

The Barcelona (Ladies) Femeni hold a 2-0 away win advantage against the Juventus FC women from the first leg at the Stadio Moccagatta in Alessandria with goals from Alexia Putellas in the 6th minute and Marta Torrejon’s 70th minute goal.

The 24-year-old Super Falcons of Nigeria forward spoke to reporters in Barcelona ahead of the today’s second leg match.

“I don’t think there’s an easy football game. You go out on the field and you don’t know what you’re going to find. you get away with your tactics, the other team on yours, every game is an effort, different, a different kind of football,” Oshoala said.

Oshoala joined Barcelona Femeni on six-month loan from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian F.C in January this year. And the Spanish side eventually signed her on permanent basis on a two-year contract after she impressed with eight goals in eleven games.

She has scored seven goals in seven appearances for the Spanish side this season.
