Amin Younes’ agent admits the winger may leave Napoli in January to seek more game time but will fight for his place if required. Younes moved to Naples from Dutch outfit Ajax in the summer of 2018 but has played just 25 minutes of football this season.
It has not been a smooth transition to his new surroundings, with a contract dispute hardly the formula for integrating yourself into a new team.
The German international winger is now part of the first-team squad but remains on the fringes and it is clear that he wants to see more action.
His agent, Sahr Senesie, confessed that there may be opportunities to move but says the 25-year-old will give his all for the Partenopei if he remains.
“Something could happen in this transfer window,” he told DPA. “We’re weighing up options in Germany and Italy. Amin feels good in Naples, but it’s clear that he’d like to play more. “In any case he’ll adapt to any decision Napoli make, continuing to fight and give everything for their jersey.”
