Egyptian giants Zamalek have sacked former Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, reports Completesports.com.
The White Knights took the decision following the club’s 2-2 draw against National Bank.
“Zamalek and Jose Peseiro agree to end the relationship by mutual consent. We wish the best in future,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
Peseiro was appointed Zamalek head coach in February.

The former African champions failed to hit expected height under his tutelage.
The team was eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup at the quarter-final stage by South African side Stellenbosch last month.
Domestically, they currently occupy third position behind leaders Pyramids FC and Al Ahly.
In 17 matches with Zamalek, the 65-year-old won seven times, drawn eight and lost twice.
