  • Can they do it for Nigeria?

    • Jide Dola 6 months ago

Yes, they have done it for Nigeria, common zimbabwe. If paseiro had won by 2 goals to 1, nff would have let him be and he would have disgraced us when it will be difficult to bare. Imagine nations cup came before qualifier and we play draw in our first too matches, that’s how serious the situation is

  • Uzoho again? Sidon look mode ooo.

    • Why is it taking the NFF to sack the coach . Definitely where going no where with this kind of player, please sack the coach for God’s sake.

  • Tristan 6 months ago

Not bad from Tella, at least he is trying to cross the ball. Iwobi on the other hand is just either backpassing or misplacing simple passes.

  • onwajunior 6 months ago

    We don’t have a team!!!!

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

I told you that pasiero is sabotaging Nigeria by playing uzoho –
You people beter just forget qualification and sack that bastard pasioro

  • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

    Zimbabwe just scored oh

  • Sammy 6 months ago

Lord see our keeper. See the distance from which they beat this guy???

  • Bring back gernot rohr to come build this team again

  • Kenneth 6 months ago

Goooallllllllllllll, Zimbabwe. Oya o eyin Uzoho supporter. Worst Eagles assembled

  • Zimbabwe 1 Nigeria 0.

The goal was scored from 30 yards out from a free kick

  • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

Nigeria keeper, uzoho can’t see anything in the post wow…why can’t they try as different keeper tho

    • SeanT 6 months ago

@selfmade abeg come borrow us Goalkeeper now. If na on loan make we know how much. Begging of behalf of NFF

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

Those making Nigeria suffer so will NEVER escape punishment!
That bastard Pasioro and the basket calamity frank uzoho must GO!

  • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

Nigeria should use the wings because zim has packed their midfield

  • @Dr Drey I think that’s anything swinger shot right? This uzoho will let peseiro get fire, at this rate I’m finally done with this guy.

  • This Uzoho na serious basket. See the distance of the free kick. I am tired of this eagles. Mikel just left a big hole for all these calamity mid-fielders to fill.

  • Kenneth 6 months ago

The nigerian team look like a secondary school team assembled together. All this players are just Golden eaglets material. Thought Peserio said Uzoho is the best keeper we got. I know Ndidi will be shaking his head wherever he is right now. Abeg sack this coach even if this man wins today. No team co-ordination a all

    • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

Relax bro..: the game isn’t over

      • Kenneth 6 months ago

Am very relaxed. Have said it that we over-hype our players too much. Honestly, i saw the goal coming. The players look tired and rusty. Is finidi even with this team?

    • Where is that loquacious Dr Drey. There you have it.This is an inswinger Ekwa? He was beaten 30 meters out from a free kick.Bad positioning. Please Dr Drey, come out and defend him whilst insulting forumites.

Meanwhile, the way we are playing, in the next 6 hours we will never score.Too much possession in harmless areas.Zimbabwe will park the bus soon.

      • Dr. Drey 6 months ago

Hahahaha….so your tutorial videos also told you that the same scenarios that apply to conrnerkciks apply to direct freekick ehn kwa…?

        Mr loud mouth.

Where should Uzoho have stood this time…??? LMAooo.

I guess he should have come to claim the ball on the edge of the 18 yard box…..according to your tutorial videos….LMAooo.

Everything has to be Uzoho….including a well taken freekick.

The fact that you are even attributing the goal to “bad positioning” further proves the fact that you know no jack about goalkeeping….LMAOoo

        • Abbey 6 months ago

Oga! Uzoho was out of the goal post, when he supposed to be on the goal post line, may he could have push the ball to corner some how!

          • Dr. Drey 6 months ago

Hahahahaha….he was supposed to be on the goal post line….LMAOoo.

So tell me how many GKs you watch every weekend standing on their goal line before a long range freekick….LMAOoo. When its not a penalty….!

If you did maths or physics in school (if at all you went to school), you would have done “Angles of Elevation/Depression ” and Trigonometry and not say the things you just said now…..LMAooo.

Here comes another one who knows no jack about goalkeeping.

Prof Soyinka was right about Social Media and the breed of youths we have these days

  • I have advised that you should lower your expectations. These players are not ready. They are bunch of irresponsible players.

  • Words have power….

Zimbabwe coach said he’ll exploit from uzoho’s weakness.

    He successfully redeem his words

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

Let’s just forget qualification again this time around but if Pasenroi and that calamity Frank EVER EVER turn out for us again then we must take militant action! There must be rioting and heads MUST ROLL!

    • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

The game isn’t over now!! Relax … zim looks beatable

    • Even though you and I always disagree here, I second you on this, immediately I saw the lineup all I said was uzoho again, peseiro and uzoho most have some convenant binding them together, bcos I’m struggling to see reason for using basket as a GK in a very important match that might cost you ur job.

    • Jide Dola 6 months ago

This comment is actually funny, who’s the coach uzoho or paseiro. He played two friendly matches and he refused to give any other goal keeper chance. Did uzoho point gun on his head and say if you replace me I will shoot you? Abeg o, let paseiro go in peace.

  • chuks haifa 6 months ago

Uzoho again….Something is wrong somewhere. Nobody knows what the coach is planning for Nigeria.

  • The artificial turf is affecting them

  • MONKEY POST 6 months ago

LMFAO.. GENERAL ROAR is just PATIENTLY waiting to WHOOP you guys ass and there is no better time to do it than now that the se is in disarray… lol..

But meanwhile make una continue to dey explain without evidence…lol

    • Steve O 6 months ago

Your general rohr who couldn’t redeem his team with South Africa ?… Abeg go sidon , our problem is just not knowing the coach to lead this eagles, I know Equavon the python will be waiting to take over at the last minute as usual, nothing surprises me in Nigeria !!.. bunch of fools !

      • MONKEY POST 6 months ago

We are talking about coaches who understands a team better bro. GENERAL ROAR understand the se better why don’t you bring him on..

GENERAL ROAR is built and tailored for the se..

      • Bro, Benin Republic and South Africa are not on same level of football.

        • MONKEY POST 6 months ago

Thank you my bro..they just hate GENERAL ROAR for nothing

          • Steve O 6 months ago

Rohr have moved on , move on brother, unless you are Rohr pretending to be Monkey Post !!!.. what we need now is to sack this good for nothing coach and hire a world class coach that will take Super Eagles out of the woods!!.. I don’t think it is too late to redirect our world cup qualification, we still have months to our next qualifications match !!

      • Jide Dola 6 months ago

My own be say anybody way coach Nigeria go just dey win piu piu. Since rohr departure you guys are just going back Lol. I pray the next coach won’t be block head. All this people are heart broken bcos they put too much hope on this man, but I knew if this disappointment don’t happen now at the end it will be disgrace. Just take heart and hope for the better coach

  • Emmanuel 6 months ago

Any link to watch the match

  • Moffi and Aribo ahead of Boniface and Iheanacho? I hope Paseiro has tendered his resignation and not planning to return to Nigeria. he along with the player that supposedly convinced him to take the pay cut and continue the mediocrity.

    • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

Who’s the Rasta guy in the midfield?

He’s too close to the defensive third and he has left a big void in the midfield

He need a defensive midfielder behind him so that he can transition

      • Iwobi. The impostor coach is playing him out of position. The guy is just wrong in everything. Totally confused.

        No discernable tactics.
        No right formation.
        No element of unpredictability.
        No nothing.

On what criterai exactly did Gusau renew this man’s contract? At least, Rohr was a coach. I can’t call this one a coach.

  • Even with bad goalie you can’t score Nigeria from long range under coach Rohr, immediately Rohr left any team can stand at ijebude and shoot, straight it enters our net.

BRING BACK OGA ROHR TO BUILD THIS TEAM….

He’s the perfect match for our boys and our football.

  • Respect is reciprocal 6 months ago

I don’t understand why iwobi who is supposed to be a creative midfielder is now operating from the defense . Our problem is Devine. Some players don’t deserve to be in eagles like iwobi no football sense at all. Can’t he allow Frank to be helping the defenders while he stays at the middle to feed the strikers

    • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

Iwobi is too close to the defensive line!! He needs a solid CM to be able to operate freely

    • Tristan 6 months ago

Anybody knows that with Uzoho you can score Nigeria from set-pieces. Freekicks and corner kicks and it is 1-0.
I used to wonder why Iwobi was moving to a defensive midfield role, I now realise it is not the coach’s instructions but it is Iwobi’s limitations as an attacking midfielder. His pass completion in this game has been bad, so to cover up he moves to a defensive midfield position where he dances with the ball, leaving the link-up and connection to the forwards non-existent as Onyeka cannot perform that role.
Moses Simon has been ineffective, this should make people realise that coming on as a sub is different from starting. Fresh legs can easily dribble tired defenders.
As for Aribo, one would have thought that as Iwobi retreats to his defensive hideout Aribo would move into midfield to strengthen the midfield-attack connection.
That Nigeria has not set-piece game, the very tactic that all these teams are using against Nigeria is the fault of the coach. After 2 years I honestly cannot see what he has brought to Nigeria’s game.

      • Jide Dola 6 months ago

Bcos that’s where he played him, iwobi played 4 in both legs and anytime we conceive, he made iwobi to sit back the more. Paseiro want to control the game from rear but one thing he didn’t know is that iwobi is better playing at the edge of opponent’s box. That’s the kind of coach your nff hired

  • JimmyBall 6 months ago

Peseiro, Amaju and Gusau have destroyed our football… half baked players. We have no midfield and no structure… passing the ball aimlessly without purpose.

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

A COUNTRY WITH ALMOST A BILLION PEOPLE AND THIS ANIMAL PASENROI INSISTS ON PLAYING CALAMITY FRANK – TRUST ME THIS ISN’T NORMAL, APART FROM THE FACT THAT UZOHO IS PAYING HIS WAY INTO THIS TEAM, PASEIORO ALSO HAS A REVENGE AGENDA! THEY SHOULD LYNCH THAT BASTARD!

  • Klistivivi Ogunlana 6 months ago

Please, where are you guys streaming the match from ? Is there a link?

  • Uzoho, rope for nothing. Ground shot, nothing, up shot, olodo. Mikel Obi, sorry for some abuses during your career. This current mid-fielders are just not the standard of eagles. No sense at all.

    • Chima E Samuels 6 months ago

None of them smell Mikel Obi standard none even dey close. I’ve never seen Eagles dominated in the presence of Mikel. It’s impossible!!!!

  • Vincent 6 months ago

    Cry my beloved country

  • Chima E Samuels 6 months ago

I think it will be best if we stop supporting this team so that NFF will start using their head.

  • Can anyone read the players’ body language? They obviously don’t have confidence in this coach.

The talentless coach say Lesotho result nah bad luck. This one too nah bad luck? The Guninea Bissau loss at home nah badluck. The 5-0 hammering by Portugal nah still bad luck. The 3 – 0 loss to Mexico home based team still bad luck. What exactly are we payimg this man for because even I can do a lot better.

Even if the players manage to win today, Paseiro must not come back to Nigeria.

  • Bobby 6 months ago

This is how the NFF destroyed Nigerian football. That man should not bother to return to Nigeria.

  • Vincent 6 months ago

World cup qualification is slipping away. Cry my beloved country.

  • Simple solution. Sack pesero after this match even we win. This will automatically sack uzoho.

It’s clear that this coach does not understand the Nigerian players. Though the players too are not showing responsibility.

I commented on the wisdom to use moffi and aribo from the start. Both have not demonstrated the greatness to show magic in this must-win match.

But Boniface and iheanacho should have started.

In Boniface first match, he had an assist and did well. Against Saudi Arabia he forced a goal. Against Mozambique he scored but was ruled as offside.

Iheanacho would have scored in the last match. He hot the bar. He gave the cross that led to the goal.

I just did this analysis to show why Pessro should be sacked after this match even if we win (which is unlikely).

Well, I have said this, with this, they don’t deserve to be at the world cup.

  • Papafem 6 months ago

If friendly matches are meant to see who is good enough or not for the team and Peseiro fails to see that Uzoho isn’t the one for us after how many matches with his consistent blunders, then he’s not a good coach. Win, lose or draw, they get him sacked after this match. I can now cleanly see why he failed everywhere he’s gone to. Only Pinnick knows what he saw in this guy before employing him. It’s a shame! We should apologize to Genot Rohr for ever comparing him with this guy. He’s so clueless and has no single coaching value. A A gaffer that’s so used to failure can’t coach a team with a strong predgree like Nigeria.

    • onwajunior 6 months ago

The saw $$$…. Probably agreed to inflate and share his salary. When we hired him my colleague who is Portuguese was shocked. Told him anything is possible with our NFF

  • onwajunior 6 months ago

Woke up for this rubbish? Even the blind can see that Zimbabwe packed the midfield. Uzoho has been our downfall, yet the coach sticks with him

  • dtouchbearer 6 months ago

U can watch d match on YouTube, gaantfootball

  • BigCole 6 months ago

I saw on another sport news site your coach is already applying for vacant Zamalek job so I’m not surprised with the nonsense I’m seeing here

  • I will advice we shd let this coach do his job, let him deploy his fav tactics, be it 442 or 424, myself and @deo are the few guys here who see the potential in what he is trying to build, what’s the essence of having legs in ur midfield and yet they are no where to be found? At least with peseiro 424 or 442 we are sure gonna see an attacking input and the team
Never look this timid, if 442 or 424 will save us in this match, pls
Peseiro revert back, we can’t afford to loose this match.

  • The worst eagle have seen in recent time! No single goal attempt, no fighting spirit. The defenders spent much time before releasing the ball.

  • onwajunior 6 months ago

Wait, we are now playing without any defensive midfielder?

  • Justin 6 months ago

Imagine making panic subs. What is Osayi doing in the game. Tella was still trying to ginger the offense. Haaaaaaaa we are doomed.

  • onwajunior 6 months ago

Do these guys want to score at all

  • ”The Professor” and his Gen L student athletes are lighting it up against ”Mighty Zimbabwe!”

  • Sammy 6 months ago

    Wetin referee dey blow abeg???

  • Na wah oooo

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

IMAGINE HAVING A FREE KICK FROM THAT POSITION AND STILL CONTRIVING NOT TO SCORE?? WHERE IS THE COACHING, TACTICS ETC IN THIS USELESS TEAM? THAT IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOUR COACH IS AN INFIDEL LIKE POANSORIE – THERE SHOULD AT THE VERY LEAST HAVE BEEN ONE OF OUR PLAYERS IN THAT WALL SO THAT WE CAN SHOOT THROUGH HIS LEGS, BUT NO, PONSORIO COULD NOT EVEN FIGURE THAT ONE OUT!
    CHAII!

    • Kubor 6 months ago

Even a shot Aribo could not shoot into the net from that free-kick. Its like watching seondary school football. Its time we let our own come back and coach. Even when eguavoen was the coach it wasn’t this bad.

      • Steve O 6 months ago

Equavon was the worst coach to ever coached Nigeria through the back door !!.. he never qualified Nigeria for any tournament, yet he will use his juju to take up unmerited coaching job of Super Eagles and always fail woefully!!

        • kubor 6 months ago

And which wan the rorh win for us? Same bronze he has won with nigeria has a coach. But yet he will still retain his job, but if it’s our local coaches immediately they on the firing block

  • What’s this with delay from all this africa teams once they leading? It’s getting boring men.

  • It is not over until it’s over. Let’s be positive.

  • 1:0 to Nigeria.

  • onwajunior 6 months ago

    Time for Lookman

  • Iheanacho scores. I wonder a coach will leave such a player on the bench.

Now give Boniface the chance to do a magic. He is capable of doing that. He is a proven goal scorer. He is better than moffi by far.

  • Now whatever the outcome of this match , both paserio and uzoho should go.Simple

  • Johnson Chima Onyeagoro 6 months ago

Please where are you seeing this match

  • But why should they go?

  • onwajunior 6 months ago

    Les go Sadiq!!! Super-striker

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

ZIMBABWE ARE NOW PLAYING DIRTY TRICKS – EMPLOYING THE DARK ARTS – EVERY CHANCE THEY GET THEY’RE GOING DOWN AND PRETENDING TO BE INJURED TO WASTE TIME AND YET, OUR PLAYERS ARE NOT PASSING WELL ENOUGH TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AN OPPONENT BASICALLY RESORTING TO DEFENDING AND PARKING THE BUS!
    ONLY GOD CAN HELP US!

  • Calamity Uzoho again. Na wah. He should not smell this team again

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

NOW WATCH THIS GOAL – Y’ALL KNOW WE DON’T HAVE A GOALIE
I’M SURE PANSENRO IS LAUGHING INSIDE RIGHT NOW!
WE ALL KNOW THIS IS A GOAL, WE MIGHT AS WELL NOT HAVE A GOAL KEEPER FFS!

  • Bobby 6 months ago

That journeyman should be sacked immediately after this match.

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

CHAII!” JUST SEE GROWN MEN PASSING BALL?? THESE GUYS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMESELVES! THIS IS A SHAME!

  • Aribo is trying is best in the mid field to set up the strikers but none of them get sense. If a player like Osimhen were to be playing today, he would have scored 1 or 2 with those set up.

  • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

EVEN AJAYI HAS TURNED- HE IS REALLY TRYING HIS BEST TO GIVE THIS GAME TO THE ZIMS! LOOL! NA WAH O!

  • Chima E Samuels 6 months ago

The coach has to leave now.

  • Vincent 6 months ago

Am just speechless, pondering what is all this.

  • JOEL CHIDI 6 months ago

What a disgraceful performance. So sad and the signs were there but nothing was done. Such a useless coach

    • The coach tried. Nigeria created million opportunities. It was just bad luck.

      • This Deo is suspicious lol. Algeria is also a national team that has won both home and away. Na big nation again. I am just waiting for afcon group stage to be over because I forbid we qualify from the group so peserios contract will naturally end. Synthetic pitch or not, 180 minutes of game with only 2 goals do not justify the many strikers list

        • Field Marshall. General. Sir Johnbob 6 months ago

It’s not the real Deo – looks like some tool like arara kumbi the deviant one or some other dumb charlatan and if it is then he’s playing some next level game, but we know what he writes like – All the big big English lol- this definitely ain’t him!

      • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

This is wc qualifiers! Every chance count deo…

Zimbabwe looked suspect from their wings and Nigeria should have attached from their wings!

Uzoho spilled the ball again in the dying mins

Why can’t they try a new keeper? Why?

The corruption in ghana and Nigeria football is sickening

  • Respect is reciprocal 6 months ago

Loosing this game and sacking the coach immediately would have given us a better chance of qualifying for World Cup than drawing this game and retaining this useless coach.

    • We have to thank Uzoho for not losing the game. He tried a lot. The goal he conceded was just bad luck. Peseiro tried his best.

      • Abbey 6 months ago

I told you guys that Paseiro has nothing to offer Nigerians.
Bye bye to 2026 world cup.
South Africa will do everything possible to win the group.
        What a shame to NFF

    • John omoregie 6 months ago

Nigeria need Professional and sound goalkeeper trainer, sacking the coach is not the solution,

  • A TOTAL OF 4 PRECIOUS POINTS LOST!!!

I hope we don’t start playing catchup. We might be occupying the mid or bottom of the table before the next matches in March. Please we need a new coach and new goalkeepers for Afcon. I used to think Alloy Agu and Agbonivbare were Nigeria’s worst goalkeepers until now.

    • Kel please. Stop making a mountain out of mole hill. Peseiro tried his best. Uzoho made sure we didn’t lose.

  • Ayphillydegreat 6 months ago

This Boniface guy sef no play anything. Why bench Iheanacho?? What was Moffi doing on the pitch? Worst striker ever!! Aribo that wasn’t playing regularly was our best player in midfield. Onyeka playing like he was paid to sabotage us. Uzoho Oh Uzoho! Such an eyesore two points from a possible six? Calculator season back again. I’m speechless.

    • Speechless? but you said a lot.

      • Selfmade KING 6 months ago

Aribo and iwobi are too SLOW as creative midfielders!

Nigeria needs a FAST PACE CREATIVE midfielder!

Before aribo and iwobi transition play, the opposition has recovered already!

The midfield is too SLOW PACED!

And who do iwobi always DROP DEEP to picked up balls from his defensive half if he’s the creative spark of the team?

Nigeria need a CENTRAL DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER to feed IWOBI in the center of the park!

Aribo and iwobi have the same style!

  • Steve O 6 months ago

We warned this stupid coach to change that calamitous goal keeper and he refused, he must be sacked immediately!!.. we have already lost the world cup ticket , we need and experience world class coach to redeem the eagles if we are to feature at the world cup , this is just a rescue mission and nothing more !!

    • @STEVE
It’s only Rohr that can remedy the situation now.

He did it in 2018, he can still do it in 2023.

      Operation bring back Rohr.

      • Steve O 6 months ago

Abeg stop that joke , Benin lost to South Africa under your beautiful Rohr , so let him qualify Benin first to prove himself, after all Angola got the world cup sometime ago at the expense of a coach good enough to beat Nigeria for the ticket!!

As for the coach I have no words now until before and after the AFCON.

    • Really, let’s know where you stand now. Afcon might be too late.

      • Ayphillydegreat 6 months ago

I think sticking with Uzoho might’ve sealed his fate. He only had maybe 3 training sessions with the team. I believe there are better coaches out there or a good local coach. However, the AFCON is only 7 weeks away. Good thing we didn’t lose any of the matches. Maybe a two weeks training camp can spark something during the AFCON. Can he take us to the promised land absolutely not. He’s not better than Rohr in fact he’s a downgrade to Rohr. We need a better coach.

  • Unique 6 months ago

Spending mostly one season at each club. What makes his CV different from Rorh and some of our ex. They just come to cashout. Its obvious he is paying someone to retain his his Job and in turn, Uzoho is paying him back to keep his position. Don’t be surprised when he says Uzoho didn’t do bad

  • With Rohr as Coach, Nigeria will qualify from this cheap group with 3 games remaining.

He did it before, he can still do it again….

NFF please swallow your pride and bring back OGA ROHR.

He’s the only person on to build this jettery boys.

WE NEED ROHR TO QUALIFY US AS USUAL.

I CAN’T GO BACK TO CALCULATOR AREA.

    NFF SAVE US PLEASE.

    ROHR IS THE SOLUTION.

    • Bolaji 6 months ago

Let Rohr do that with Benin republic. Why must he be Nigeria. he sha be expert that qualifes with game to spare. Let him go do it with Benin, he is past tense

      • onwajunior 6 months ago

Why are you against Rohr??? Do you want us to play at the World Cup? Can you compare the players of both countries? Sometimes I marvel at people’s chain of thought!

        • Bolaji 6 months ago

Let me help your confused self on why Rorh is not the solution. Wasn’t it on this platform that some forumites said he was just a journeyman trying to build his CV. May i suggest you go look at the teams he had coached and how long he lasted. No difference with Peserio except the Europa finals he went 30 years ago. Wasn’t he losing games home and away like perserio? 70% of the players that played today came once coached by Rorh. Since many of you wanted to rub it in our faces that he qualifies teams with game to spare, let him go achieve that with Benin republic. He sha knows how to convince half bred players to play for their country, my brother let him go do that for benin. Then we sha know if he is the expert you all think he is. If only the local coaches could be treated the way the journeymen are treated maybe we would have gone places

Abeg stop that joke , Benin lost to South Africa under your beautiful Rohr , so let him qualify Benin first to prove himself, after all Angola got the world cup sometime ago at the expense of a coach good enough to beat Nigeria for the ticket!!

We are not playing football in all honesty. We pass and pass and pass instead of running with balls to pull opposing team players out of position to create space.
This team is not playing anywhere close their potentials. And finally Peseiro’s foolish stubbornness in trusting in an Uzoho, lacking in self confidence and totally out of tune with what is expected of him as a goal keeper has got him a well deserved sack letter.
I will have not a pinch of sympathy if he and some of these players get kicked out of the team. The confidence and leadership of a goal tender goes a long way in strengthening a team. PLAYERS THAT DONT HAVE THE CONFIDENCE TO MOVE BALLS FORWARD WITH SPEED, TENACITY, DRIVE AND SKILLS BUT KEEP PASSING SIDEWAYS OR BACKWARD SHOULD GIVE WAY AND GO FOCUS ON THEIR CLUB FOOTBALL. YOU CAN’T BE LOOKING FOR A WIN AND BE PASSING SIDEWAYS OR BACKWARD..THATS JUST A SHOW OF LACK OF QUALITY AND COWARDICE. FANS ARE TIRED OF BORING FOOTBALL.
I never used to be a fan of Laddan Bosso. But with what I saw of our last flying Eagles, I’d asked for him and Manu Garba to take over from Peseiro going forward.

Nigeria needs a FAST PACED, ball playing CREATIVE ATTACKING MIDFIELD period!!

This is the MISSING LINK ….

Aribo and iwobi are TOO SLOW on transition

A creative player should only use PASSES and dribbling to control a game but he must be QUICKEST player off the block!!

Does aribo do that? No … he is slow and allows the opposition to recover easily

      This is the problem

There is an age long african adage that says what the elder sees sitting down, the young man who climbs an iroko tree would not see. Some of us saw this coming and we had been making complaints for some time but it all fell on deaf NFF’s deaf ears and now the chicken has come home to roost. What I can infer from all of these is that the NFF is led by blind men and the coach is as blind as a bat.

It is extremely painful that even wen the world cup slot for African countries was increased to 10 slots, it appears we still would not qualify. This is an indicator that we have gone backwards. The last time, we at least reached the knockout stage but this time we are struggling with lesotho and zimbabwe, absolutely shameful! The Clowns at NFF will then say “Let us do it again”, you are NOT doing jack!

I did say that the coach sticking with Uzoho meant he was willing to die on his sword and that is exactly how it has played out. For those who criticize the players, give these players a good coach and you would be amazed that it is the same team. If a coach can persist with Uzoho after watching howlers after howlers, it tells you all you need to know about his judgment and it is the reason why he has become a serial failure as a national team coach. There was reason to hire this coach.

To NFF, the first step is to get rid of this coach and get serious. Ensure players are selected on merit and pay coaches and players their remuneration due to them on time. Stop all this “loacal quota” stuff and let the best playing abroad or locally don our jerseys. Stop this federal character stuff, this is sports, no successful national team does this.

  • Way forward. We need to save afcon even if we miss world cup..

Pesero should go. He is not for for this team.

Finidi and amuneke should come in Even eguavon was not as bad as this.

He does not understand the Nigerian play and the players.

We should stop wasting money on this half baked coaches. Let’s use our own or go for top class coaches.

It’s clear that we can’t really get anything good if oshimen and ndidi are not playing especially with this set up.

I have watched super eagles since 1984. The ideal Nigerian striker is not what we have in awoniyi or moffi.

The Nigerian striker are hustlers and fighters. They are not usually quite on the field. The reason why oshimen is doing well

Yekini, siasia, anokachi, aghaowa etc were fighters and goal scorers.

The reason why owubokiiri scored all the goals in Portugal but could take out yekini and co. He played one match and got out of the team.

You saw the aggressive ness of emenike and ideye in attack in 2013. Nigerian attack is great when it is spearheaded by strong and aggressive attackers.

It’s just like Mourinho always setting up with an African striker.

Odion ighalo struggled st junior level for this reason. He was too quiet and not aggressive but he built that into his game a little bit and he was able to get some good results.

That’s why I pity awoniyi in a Nigerian shirt. He needs to be more aggressive. Moffi is also struggling for this reason.

Dessers has this quality but Nigerians can’t see this. I will prefer aggressive Nigerian strikers who is fit but not playing regularly to a moffi or an awoniyi who is playing regularly and even scoring in Europe.

The reason why I condemned the use of moffi from the start today. The coach is clueless and does not understand the Nigerian game.

One of the best Nigerian striker that I have seen though at youth level is Philip osondu. It’s painful he did not have that chance with super eagles but he had everything – skill, aggressive, goal scoring skills.

This is the strength of any Nigerian team.

    The next are the wingers.

Ademola will never do well in a Nigerian wing. He is too cool.

Take your mind back to ideks Nigerian wingers – adokiye amarsimaka, elaho, tijani babangida, finidi, Seguin odegbami, amuneke, Humphrey edobor, even Ahmed Musa.

The wingers don’t just sleep in the wingers. They are good dribblers and good goal scorers. They also love to cut into the middle and they always work with the strikers.

Our strength had always been in the attack

The reason why a half fit Moses Simon will always do better than an ademola. Ademola should find another space to operate in the Nigerian team.

God bless all forumites who complained bitterly about Peseiros CV. It has indeed proved that we.have more quality here than the ENTIRE NFF. MOURINHO AS HIS REFEREE IS NOT A YARDSTICK. PESEIRO WAS A BORN LOSER

  • Lollipops 6 months ago

@ Fellow Forumites, please join the “Sack Peseiro Campaign” on twitter on NFF page.

  • Omo9ja 6 months ago

Thank God that we were not disgraced in today’s match.

Hmm. I was talking about Oga Paseiro few days ago and someone said to me that I should leave Super Eagles coach alone because I have been complaining about almost all the coaches NFF have hired for Super Eagles but how wouldn’t I complain?

Because if NFF does their job well, we would have beaten Lesotho and Zimbabwe easily.

The solution to this problem NFF found themselves is to give our own a chance once again to be in charge of the Super Eagles because of the time frame. They claimed they don’t have money then they should go for our own because they better than these average foriegn coaches.

They should select the best three local coaches for Eagles.

I will suggest Amunike, Egbo, and Manu Garba.

    Head coach, Amunike

Two assistance coaches, Manu Garba and Egbo

Goalkeeper trainers, Peter Rufai, Enyeama and Ikeme. Two out of the three should be okay for the team.

If NFF can give these five men a chance, by God’s grace, Nigeria will qualify for the World Cup and make Nigerians proud in Ivory Coast when the Afcon starts.

But corruption has eaten deep in the NFF. They won’t do it. It is a shame to see Uzoho manned the post for Nigeria, but NFF and the coach are making fun of our emotions. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

      All thanks to people like:

      The former sport minister @Dare
      The former NFF chairman @Pinnick
      The racist bigot @segun odegbami
      The greedy @Equavon
The sentimental and clueless fans like @Omo9ja
      @Jimmyball
      @christian ministry
      @Iwunze
      Etc.

When we warned you guys about sacking Rohr, you guys told us any coach can win a trophy with the super eagles under two weeks. We ended up not:

      1. Qualifying for quarter finals at the last nations cup. And we were beating by a corona virus invested team, headed by their assistant coach.
      2. We ended up not qualifying for world cup held @Qatar.

IS SUPER EAGLES MOVING FORWARD OR BACKWARD AFTER THE SACK OF ROHR????

IS SITUATION BETTER THAN WHEN ROHR WAS AROUND??????

With Rohr qualification was a tea party, I lost my calculator during his reign. But now I just bought two calculators for super eagles. Rohr never draw two qualifiers opening games. Rohr would have win one out of this two, and am sure we would have top this group. Forgot about Rohr in Benin, Benin is short of talents compared to Nigeria.

Dr. Dre, monkey post, etc see what we told this guy’s but they became clueless about the warnings. Bye Bye to world cup qualification, South Africa will never allow this chance slip. Lesotho and Zimbabwe are 100% ready to sacrifice for South Africa.

Another asslicker coming to spill nonsense. Why is your Rorh under-performing since he left. Until you return this team to the local coaches or sound foreign coach, nothing any journeyman can do to revive this team but to make easy money. Blame all those who have rubbished what rorh left for us. Or is it rorh that will enter the field to tell Uzoho how to position himself. Abeg cover your face in shame. You can relocate to Benin republic for all we care

        • marvelous sunday 6 months ago

You are bagging like a dog, no wonder you have no point after wasting your effort typing. I have one question for you, and I need a straight forward answer.

Was Rohr meeting all his targets set for him by his employers or within his contracts?

          YES OR NO

          • Kenneth 6 months ago

And whats your point too. HE met the target and what happened, went to tournamant proper to look silly. Abeg let him perform all that with his New team. Obviously you didn’t watch his team yesterday. If SA had clinical finishers like senegal or egypt they should have collected 8

      • Omo9ja 6 months ago

@marvelous sunday, I think you are one of Oga Rohr’s followers, and just we patriotic Nigerians have asked NFF to fire Oga Rohr because he wasn’t good enough to handle the Super Eagles during his time.

He did poorly towards his end of his tenure kę. Is that the reason why you don’t like me and my colleagues ba? If so gentleman, is better you change your mind towards we the patriotic Nigerians kę.

Since then, many of his followers have never liked me omo9ja and other patriotic Nigerians.

Whether you are happy with us or not, we are here for one thing, the progress of our beloved country, Nigeria.

However, NFF have to swallow their pride this time around.

Amunike is available, and the rest of the name I mentioned above. So, NFF should go ahead and hire Oga Paseiro just like they did for Oga Rohr.

Our own has to take Nigeria to Afcon and qualify Nigeria to the World Cup. Our own has to take Nigeria to World Cup if we qualify.

As I said before, I don’t expect anything from Oga Paseiro and his employer.

Fellow Patriotic Nigerians, if we don’t act very fast on this issue, NFF will destroy Super Eagles and we may not do well at the Afcon in Ivory Coast and we may fail again to make it to the world cup if Oga Paseiro stays. A word is enough for the wise. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
