Racism and colorism are beginning to creep into the performance assessment of the Super Eagles. This is shameful that we’re now shifting from tribalism to racism and describing some of our players as “mixed blood”. Next and we’ll be discussing which players are descendants of slaves and which aren’t

  • Ako Amadi 4 years ago

Only in Nigeria does the sports media attempt to correlate the performance of players, their place of birth with the nationality of the manager as a metric. in the period between 1975 and 1985 Nigeria fielded quite a number of players born in Ghana and Complete Sports was silent, didn’t bore us with demographics. Besides, it was Stephen Keshi and Sunday Oliseh who brought in Balogun, Troost-Ekong and Ikeme. Rohr met them and a practice encouraged by the NFF
