2021 AFCON Qualifiers: Massive Boost For Rohr As Villarreal Confirm Chukwueze Full Recovery After Surgery

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr received a big boost ahead of his side’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Benin and Lesotho following the return of winger Samuel Chukwueze, reports Completesports.com.

There were fears the Villarreal of Spain winger will miss both games billed for the end of March after undergoing surgery for a groin injury last month.

The 22-year-old has been listed for Thursday’s (today) Europa League clash against Red Bull Salzburg at the Salzburg Arena after he was cleared by the club’s medical team.

“Samu is BACK! 💪🇳🇬”reads tweet on the club’s official Twitter handle.

If coach Rohr names Chukwueze and Osimhen in the soon-to-be-announced list… It’s a sign his panic is high-pitched!

      • Perhaps he should name you instead

Lol…. I wonder o….. Maybe he should foward his name to him….. Dunno what he’s still waiting for…

Heehehehehe…Gattusso too must be in a state of panick to be fielding Osimhen after recovering from injury
Emery also must be in panic mode too for listing Samu for tonight’s Europa league match. Not forgetting Rodgers who started fielding Ndidi immediately he was passed fit.
Listing a fit to play tonight Chukwueze for a match that will be played in 5-6 weeks time is indeed a sign of panic. Hatred devoid of common sense. LMAO

What are u saying , panic for what have they not been cleared to play ?

        Hahahahaha…..awesome response. Awesome….LMAO.

“…The 22-year-old has been listed for Thursday’s (today) Europa League clash against Red Bull Salzburg at the Salzburg Arena after HE WAS CLEAR BY THE CLUB’S MEDICAL TEAM….”

Maybe Unai Emery who has named him in his Europa league squad for tonight is also vigorously panicking….LMAO.

Our games against Benin and Lesotho are in 5 and 6 weeks time respectively. But people who will do anything to pull another man down think listing Samu who has been passed fit to play and subsequently listed for tonight’s Europa league match is a sign of high-pitched panic….LMAO.

If Rohr ends up listing him pls go and swim in a frozen pool to vent your anger….LMAO

They never stop ridiculing themselves on this platform….LMAO

If Rohr ends up listing him pls go and jump into the North Sea….LMAO

@Dr.Drey… Let those two boys stay in their club and avoid the distractions of the last two games to qualify SE for nations cup… They need to get back to their optimal level in their clubs and stay fresh for the nationc. Cup in June… Osimhen has a shoulder socket problem… Samu had a dangerous groin… those two injuries relapse easily in tight tussles as is often the case with African opposition and games. Osimhen is receiving fire from Italian jealous mediamen for commanding a high trf fees with not so much to show to date… he needs to get his acts together and stamp his feet in seria A… We have enough weapons to destroy Benin Republic and Lesotho even without those duo… you know I am telling the truth but as you too like my matter you must throw punch. One love…

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Hehehehehe….I thought you claimed it was a sign of high-pitched panic…LMAO. Now it has changed to ‘we have enough weapons’…Lolz. Siasia thought he had enough weapons when he threw Enyeama and co out of the SE in 2011 all in the name of punishment…Keshi thought he had enough weapons in 2014 when he started fielding riffraff homebased players in crucial qualifiers….Oliseh too thought we had enough weapons when he retired Enyeama, Emenike, Efe and almost retired Mikel from the SE……the rest of those stories are history….LMAO.

Sorry to disappoint you but Osimhen, Chukwueze and Ndidi are part of those ‘enough weapons’ we have. Their substitutes have proved to be unreliable thus far. If they can be listed for matches now in their clubs and they have not aggravated their injuries, then as long as they are fit and playing, they are all eligible to be called up for ALL national assignments. There is no better time to call up Osimhen than now when he is being sabotaged at club level. Let him come and get goals at the national team to rebuild and restore his confidence. The damn matches are still 5-6 whole weeks away, b4 then they all would have played between 5-8 matches for their clubs….there is absolutely NO REASON to leave them out.

So you no like punches but you like to give punches just because the coach doesn’t do you and your paymasters’ bidding….? Dont worry….person wey bendown dey look another person yansh dey expose in own too.

As long as the coach thinks he needs all his players in 5 weeks time, he has 100% freedom to call them up. IT IS NEVER A SIGN OF PANIC. If England is to play Macedonia today everyone from Pickford to Harry Kane will be called up. It is you who has high-pitch desperation to assassinate the man’s character for no just cause.
